Pigmentation + Skin Renewal

Our Pigmentation + Skin Renewal services are designed to help clients experiencing pigment loss from medical conditions or trauma. Treatments focus on restoring a balanced, even tone through pigment camouflage or targeted skin renewal techniques.

♡ Hypopigmentation is permanent pigment loss, leaving lighter patches of skin. It can be caused by burns, scars, trauma — and yep, even conditions like vitiligo (we'll explain).

♡ Lighter areas often remain even after the skin is fully healed and smooth.

♡ We use skin-toned pigments to blend these areas, reducing contrast for a more even, natural look.

♡ Vitiligo causes areas of skin to lose pigment, often symmetrically, leaving lighter patches that don’t blend with surrounding skin.

♡ Our camouflage technique uses skin-toned pigments to restore a more balanced, even appearance.

♡ This treatment is only for stable vitiligo (no new or spreading patches) and typically requires dermatologist approval.

♡ Lighter patches left behind after skin heals — not to be confused with dark spots (hyperpigmentation).

♡ Can occur after acne, cosmetic treatments, rashes, or injuries.

♡ Camouflage helps blend these areas when pigment doesn’t return on its own.

♡ Dark spots caused by sun exposure, acne, hormones, or inflammation.

♡ Treated with Inkless Bright + Regen serums to fade discoloration and promote a more even skin tone over time (no camouflage pigment).

♡ Melasma can be unpredictable — results may vary.

♡ Melasma appears as larger patches of dark, uneven pigment—often triggered by hormones, sun exposure, or heat.

♡ Treated with Inkless Bright + Regen serums to help reduce visible discoloration (no camouflage pigment).

♡ Results are not guaranteed; melasma often requires ongoing care and prevention.

Understanding Your Pigmentation Treatment Options

How do you treat hypopigmentation from scars, burns, or injuries?
Areas of hypopigmentation — where pigment is permanently lost due to burns, surgical scars, or injuries — can be visually improved with our Camouflage Tattooing service. We expertly color-match skin-toned pigments to reduce contrast and restore a more natural appearance. This treatment blends color only and does not affect skin texture.
Can stable vitiligo be treated with camouflage?
Yes — stable vitiligo (no spreading or changes for at least 12–18 months) can be improved with camouflage. We use pigment matching to help blend depigmented areas with the surrounding skin. Dermatology clearance may be required.
Can light patches from acne or cosmetic treatments be corrected?
Yes. These are often Post-Inflammatory Hypopigmentation (PIH - Hypo). Once fully healed, cosmetic camouflage can help reduce contrast and visually restore a more even tone.
Do you treat dark spots or Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation?
We offer Inkless Revision with Bright serum to help fade dark spots. This method supports skin renewal naturally without relying on harsh peels or lasers. Results vary, and a consultation will help determine your options.
Why can't you camouflage melasma?
Melasma is a hormonally-triggered pigment condition that’s unstable and reactive to trauma. Camouflage is not safe for melasma, but Inkless Revision with Bright serum may help improve its appearance in some cases. We'll walk through expectations at your consult.
What’s the difference between hypo- and hyperpigmentation?
Hypopigmentation = pigment loss (lighter patches). Hyperpigmentation = excess pigment (dark spots). We treat hypopigmentation with Camouflage and offer Inkless Revision for certain types of hyperpigmentation.
Are all lighter patches of skin treatable?
Not always. The skin must be fully healed, stable, and free of active issues. We do not camouflage raised scars, keloids, or active skin conditions. We’ll confirm eligibility during your consultation.
How many sessions are needed?
Most clients need 2–4 sessions for optimal blending and retention. Some see results sooner, but this depends on your skin, area treated, and how well pigment holds.
Is the treatment painful? Do you offer numbing?
Most clients describe it as mild to moderate discomfort — like light scratching. We offer numbing to make the experience more comfortable if needed.
What’s the downtime or aftercare like?
Aftercare is simple. You may experience mild redness or sensitivity. Most clients return to normal activities same-day. We'll provide full aftercare instructions to protect your results.
Do I need a doctor’s note or medical clearance?
In some cases — such as vitiligo or pigment loss related to medical conditions — dermatologist clearance may be needed. We’ll guide you if that’s necessary.
